Jill Fulghum, Minister of Education
Jill has been ministering at Southland since April of 1991. Originally, Jill served as the Minister to Students and now lends her immense talents to the entire educational programs of Southland Baptist Church. Jill has an incredible son named Will. Stephanie Lee, Mothers’ Day Out Director, Preschool/Nursery Director
Stephanie has been with Southland since April of 1991. Her faithful service makes the nursery a safe and joyful place for the smallest among us. Stephanie is married to Mark and they have two grown daughters. |

Taylor Sandlin, Pastor
Taylor has been at Southland since August of 2006. Before ministering at Southland he served as Pastor of First Baptist Church of Marlin. Taylor and his wife, Alyson, have two beautiful children, Sophie and John Curtis. He loves spending time with his family, attempting to play golf, watching Aggie sports, and spending time with other folks who are struggling daily to walk by faith and not by sight. Matt Walton, Minister to Students
Since joining the staff in April of 2007, Matt and his wife Kristie have had an immediate impact on the ministry at Southland. Matt has a heart for missions, discipleship, Cubs baseball, and his two children, Evan and Finley (not particularly in that order). Terry and Kathy Waller, Staff Missionaries
Terry and Kathy Waller have been staff missionaries in Bolivia with Southland Baptist since 2001. Previously, the Wallers served overseas through the International Mission Board of the SBC. Terry has created an innovative well drilling technique that is now in demand throughout the world. Through his Water for All ministry, Terry and his partners have drilled over 2000 wells in over a dozen countries. Water for All currently has permanent work in both Bolivia and Ethiopia. Kathy's work with HOPE Bolivia, an economic development program for Bolivian women is equally impressive. Through cottage industries, Kathy has helped some of the poorest women of the world find economic independence and personal dignity. Southland considers having the Wallers on board to be one of the greatest blessings God has given Southland. Learn more about their work here. |
