Deacon Ministry

The Deacon body at Southland exists to serve the church’s most basic needs. With visits to the hospital and to the homebound, with new member orientation, and with faithful prayer, the Deacons make the love of Christ tangible at Southland.

Both local hospitals provide “e-card” services for their patients. If you wish to send a brief note to friends and family while they are in patient status you may do so at the following links. For patients in Shannon Hospital use this link. For patients in Community Hospital use this link. - (Community Hospital has revised their web page and is currently working on repair of their link)  To send e-card to those ill at home you may use the system provided by the church site at this location (you will need e-mail address of recipient).
