College and Career Ministry

Come find your home away from home with the College and Career Ministry at Southland Baptist Church.  Weekly Bible Study, semi-monthly mission trips to Mexico, and lots of fellowship make this a great place to plug into body of Christ while working or in school.  You may also wish to check some additional informational and pictorial updates at our class location for FaceBook members here.

Sunday School - 9:30am in room 221 (Upstairs).
SUNDAY Worship - 10:45am in the Southland sanctuary.
SUNDAY Racquetball - Time TBA.  ASU Center for Human Performance (CHP) is the site of singles, cut-throat or doubles, beginners to advanced.  (Call 656-5530 to confirm time)
Midweek Small Group - 7:30pm, Wednesdays at Phil's House (5314 Saddle Ridge).  Come for Bible study (led by Bryan Abernathy), fellowship and meal.  Guests are welcome.

Numerous fellowships are planned monthly and include game nights, playing Wii, cookouts and more.  Whether just hanging out or enjoying deep discussion together, Southland Baptist Church has a place for you to fit in.  We would love for you to come and be part of our fellowship.  

 Our Mission Ministries - every other month the group leads a mission trip to a Baptist Children's Home outside Acuna, Mexico.  We leave on a Friday evening and return Saturday night.  While there, we play with the children, do light chores, and show the love of Jesus.    Every few months, students plan, cook, and serve a meal to San Angelo's less fortunate on a Saturday at the Soup Kitchen.

Recreation - each Fall and Spring the group heads to Enchanted Rock near Llano and Fredericksburg to hike, rappel, and enjoy a beautiful day together.
